Introduction

Can we have confidence that God’s word really is relevant to the
lives of the young people and children we reach
through
our churches? For us the answer is a resounding ‘Yes!’.
We want all those involved in church-based youth and
children’s work to have confidence in the Bible, to put it at the
heart of their programme without embarrassment, and to believe that
God can change anyone through his word.
If you help run a youth group or a children’s club, teach in
Sunday School or are a Christian parent wanting to support what your
church does for your children, then this day is for you.
Speakers
Nick Margesson is the youth worker at St Helen’s
Bishopsgate in London. Before that he was a Youth Worker at
Christchurch Bromley. David Dee is a teacher and
former children’s worker at St Ebbe’s Church Oxford.
Andrew Sampson is a teacher and has led a number
of beach missions.

£10 includes lunch and resources. Bookstall of children’s and
youth work resources available. This will be payable at the
event itself (during registration). Friday Night Event
Bring your youth group to a youth event for age 11+ at Kesgrave
Baptist Church Friday 19th September 8.00-9.30 pm. Nick Margesson
will lead the evening as a model of what a typical Bible-centred
programme involves.
